Filoli photos are still getting out of the camera; in the meantime I give you this - I call it

"Photo taken while waiting for a guy to get out of the nursery outhouse on a drizzly day"

Yesterday was a big, beautiful and busy day, moreso than in many weeks past: home work, car things, the Garden, (a short nap), gardening at Bethany, choir... I haven't yet seen what is inside my camera!

I am chagrined by my lapse on the "grateful for..." sidebar, not by my ingratitude - which would be false - but do wish to impart what I truly believe: each day, every moment, every blink of an eye and vibration of the ear is a gift, and I am grateful.

Although I have been engaged in many things of late - restoring my health, working (hard), church duties, procrastinating and catching up (and I am still not "caught up") with my responsibilities - I will abandon it all and escape to the gardens of Filoli estate tomorrow for some restorative rambling and photography.

And for those who don't love us,
may God turn their hearts;
And for those whose hearts won't be turned,
may God turn their ankles,
